Genova International School of Soccer begins operations in Canada in 2008, under Alberto Corso.
GISS Canada already has three players in Europe: Julian Uccello, 22, signed with Rivarolese serie D(Italy), Johnny D'Amato, signed with prestigious Italian club Vado FC, and Mathew Macri, 18yr old Canadian GISS player, signed with Italian team Vicenza Calcio Serie B. Mathew played with Catanzaro last season, and in July 2008 participated in the GISS Italy 18+ tour, from where he was scouted.

Genova International, in conjunction with AS Roma Canada, conducts regular clinics for players between the ages of 6 and 18, and also provides opportunites for players over 18 to travel to Europe to showcase their skills in pre-season Serie A and B games in Italy.
